  Kodak Tri-X 400

Last year this beautiful black and white film

from Kodak celebrated its 65th birthday!

Tri-X was one of the first higher speed film available.

With 400 ASA it’s a very versatile film that

can also easily be pushed to a higher ASA

(up to 1600 or even higher!). This makes it a good film for

a dimly lit situation or when you want to shoot objects that are

moving at a high speed.

It has a beautiful grain and is very sharp.

This film features excellent tone gradation and brilliant highlights.

It is especially well suited to low-flare interior lighting

or flash illumination.

This film has been used by many great photographers such as

Sebastião Salgado and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
